Elysium is a liquid rocket engine, the goal behind this engine is a MVP engine which RED can iterate on to grow our expertise. The choise of fuel and oxidizer play into this philosphy as they are readily available, non-cryogenic, and cheap. Work on Elysium is full steam ahead. The SCR, system concept review, has already been completed.
