Ragnarök is a fast‑paced project focused on developing Texas A&M’s first cryogenic rocket engine, marking several major firsts for the program: the first use of liquid oxygen as an oxidizer, the first application of metal additive manufacturing in an engine build, and RED’s first regeneratively cooled engine. The team is currently in the design phase and moving quickly toward integrated testing and eventual hot‑fire operations, positioning the project as a significant step forward in the university’s propulsion capabilities.
